What CodeLynq does with GitLab
CodeLynq works against GitLab.com and self-managed instances. It clones the project, works on its own branch and opens a merge request for review. Protected branches stay protected.
Pipeline results and review comments can be fed back into the same merge request, so a failing job is addressed without anyone re-opening the task.
Setting it up
- Create an access token in GitLab with permission to read the repository and open pull requests.
- Add the repository in CodeLynq through the guided wizard and paste the token.
- Let CodeLynq read the repository to propose your stack, conventions and test strategy, then correct what it got wrong.
- Approve a task and the first pull request appears in your normal review queue.
Worth knowing
For a self-managed instance, set your GitLab URL in the organization settings so CodeLynq talks to your server rather than gitlab.com.
Other integrations
CodeLynq also works with coding agents, GitHub, Bitbucket, GitHub Actions, Fireflies, Plaud, Slack, MCP and webhooks.
